In January 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 77,500 t of cargo (-2%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 2% to 54,300 t including 11,700 t of coal (-13%) and 42,600 t of mineral fertilizers (+1%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 40% to 8,600 t, liquid bulk cargo – by 18% to 3,000 t.
Transport of general cargo urged by 89% to 7,700 t, transshipment of timbr totaled 3,900 t (up 2.8 times).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%,year-on-year).
