Graduation ceremony held at Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping (photo release)

Graduation ceremony was held at Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping on February 27, 2016. Over 350 cadets of Marine Academy got their diplomas with qualification as sea and river fleet personnel. 

The diplomas were given to graduates of three faculties of the Academy: Navigation and Communications, Shipboard Power Supply and Arctic.

The graduates were congratulated by Rector of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping Sergei Baryshnikov, Director of Marine Academy Aleksandr Gorobtsov and other representatives of the University and companies related to the maritime industry of Saint-Petersburg.

Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping was set up through reorganization of two large industry-focused higher educational institutions - St.-Petersburg State University of Waterway Communications (SPSUWC) and Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy (SMA) in the form of affiliation of the Academy to the University.
