Murmansk to host International Shipbuilding forum

International shipbuilding forum “The Fishing Fleet – A New Impetus for Development” is to take place first time ever in Murmansk on March 17-18, 2016. According to the press center of Murmansk Region Government, the event is held under the auspices of Federal agency for fishery and Russian Ministry of industry and trade. Murmansk has a long tradition of hosting events in fishery sector where burning issues of the area are being discussed including modernization of fishing fleet. What could be an effect of allocation of up to 20% of quota shares of catch of marine resources for investments? Could Russian shipyards meet the demand for new vessels? These and many more other issues are to be at the top of the agenda during the forum.
