Throughput of port Taganrog down 25.2% to 378,800 t in Jan-Feb'16
In January-February 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 378,800 t of cargo (-25.2%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 38% to 143,500 t, coal – down 26.6% to 80,500 t, ferrous metal – down 6 times to 7,600 t. Transshipment of grain increased by 36.2% to 131,300 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 19% to 230,500, imports – by 45% to 4,800 t, short sea traffic – by 31.3% to 143,500 t.
In January-February 2016, the port authorities registered 106 incoming and 90 outgoing vessels against 117 incoming and 107 outgoing vessels in January-February 2015.
