Tuapse Commercial Seaport welcomes first tanker with crude oil
Tuapse Commercial Seaport OJSC has handled RN Saratov, the first tanker with crude oil. 6,340 t of crude oil has been delivered for Tuapse refinery (Rosneft), the company’s press center says.
Unloading and filling the tanks of RN-Tuapsenefteprodukt commenced on March 14, 2016 at Berth No 3 of the company’s oil district and lasted for less than 24 hours.
The second tanker, RN-Samara, will come in the nearest future. It will deliver 6,270 t of crude oil.
Tuapse Commercial Seaport earlier handled only export crude oil.
OJSC Tuapse Commercial Seaport (TCSP) is the major operator at the port of Tuapse, one of Russia’s largest ports. TCSP is part of UCL Port, a stevedoring division of international transport group UCL Holding. UCL Port comprises OJSC Sea Port St. Petersburg, CJSC Container Terminal Saint Petersburg, Universal Handling Terminal LLC based in North-West of Russia, and Taganrog port in the South. In 2015, Tuapse Commercial Seaport handled 14.7 mln t of cargo.
