  Gennady Khripunov, captain-instructor of FSUE Rosmorport’s Astrakhan Branch takes the post of the Branch’s Acting Director for Navigation Safety from March 1, 2016, Rosmorport says.
  
  Yuri Solomatkin, Deputy Director for Navigation Safety of FSUE Rosmorport’s Astrakhan Branch was relieved of his post on his own will by the order of Astrakhan Branch dated 29.02.2016 (No 62/л) on February 29, 2016.
  
  Gennady Khripunov was born on March 26, 1967 in Zheleznogorsk, Kursk Region.
       
  In 1989 graduated from Caspian Higher Naval College named after Kirov with as pilot-engineer.
  Career started in 1989.
  May 2010 - November 2014 – Head of Accident Investigation Department, Head of Environmental Monitoring, Safety of Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Aids to Navigation; First Deputy Harbour Master for Navigation Safety at Olinsky Branch of Astrakhan Sea Port Administration; First Deputy Harbour Master of port Olya for Navigation Safety of Caspian Basin Sea Ports Administration.
  December 2014 – August 2015 – Captain of multi-purpose rescue boat SMK-2103.
  September 2015 – till present - captain-instructor at Astrakhan Branch of FSUE Rosmorport.
