Baltic Workboats has announced the delivery of another wind farm catamaran to a German offshore-specialists Frisia-Offshore.
Wind Force III is Frisia-Offshore’s third 22-metre catamaran and 2nd in the series built by Baltic Workboats. The vessel will be based in Norddeich, North-West Germany, and will be used for servicing nearby wind farms.
She is powered by twin CAT C32 engines with power output of 895 kW each, coupled with ZF 3050 gearboxes giving her maximum speed of 23 knots.
Baltic Workboats AS (BWB) is growing shipyard with more than 150 people of personnel. The company manages entire production process from design to launch. BWB shipyard has 5500 m2 closed and modern equipped production area.
