RF Transport Ministry says capacity of Russian ports is to be expanded by 32 mln t this year

The capacity of Russian ports is to be expanded by 32 mln t in 2016, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Deputy Transport Minister Victor Olersky as saying at the final meeting of Rosmorrechflot’s Board in Moscow.

According to Victor Olersky, average growth of Russian ports’ capacity over the past 5-year period was 20 mln t per year. In 2015, budget investments into port infrastructure totaled RUB 27.9 bln with private investments being twice as much.
