In January-February 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 131,800 t of cargo (-20%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 13% to 91,400 t including 15,900 t of coal (+18%) and 71,800 t of mineral fertilizers (-16%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 67% to 10,700 t, liquid bulk cargo – up 36% to 10,000 t.
Transport of general cargo climbed by 46% to 11,900 t, transshipment of timber totaled 7,890 t (-31%).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%,year-on-year).
