  Net loss of Lotus Shipyard in 2015 down 2.5 times to RUB 297 mln

  

  Net loss of Astrakhan-based shipyard Lotus (United Shipbuilding Corporation) decreased by 61% to RUB 297 mln in 2015, the company says. 
  
  The shipyard’s revenue totaled RUB 775.8, almost 6 times as much as in 2014. 
  
  From December 2015, Shipyard Lotus (USC) is the key resident of Lotus SIEZ (Special industrial and economic zone of Astrakhan established in the Narimanovsky District of the Astrakhan Region. The shipyard specializes in construction of sea and river class ships and block-modules for fixed platforms’ superstructures. The shipyard is able to manufacture up to 20,000 t of product per year. 
  
  Lotus Shipyard OJSC specializes in construction of hulls for different vessels and in their complete fitting. From 2012, the company is managed by United Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC. The company’s major shareholders are United Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC, Caspian Energy Group OJSC, Arkhangelsk Region Government.
