Measures are currently being developed to enhance safety of navigation at the construction site of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Nikolai Zakhryapin, Deputy Transport Minister of Russia, as saying at the VI International Forum “Transport security” held in St. Petersburg on April 6, 2016.

“As this area is to be used for international navigation, the solutions applied should be efficient and should comply with the rules of international law, - said Zakhryapin. – Such solutions are being developed and will become available to the public in the nearest future.” 

According to Nikolai Zakhryapin, there are sufficient resources to ensure safe navigation in the area.
