In January-March 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 231,800 t of cargo (-9%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 1% to 158,600 t including 20,100 t of coal (+6%) and 129,700 t of mineral fertilizers (-1%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 63% to 17,500 t, liquid bulk cargo – up 54% to 21,400 t.
Transport of general cargo climbed by 52% to 16,000 t, transshipment of timber totaled 18,300 t (-14%).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%,year-on-year).
