In January-April 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled729,600 t of cargo (-22.8%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 41.8% to 224,500 t, coal – down 12.1% to 174,700 t, ferrous metal- down 14.8 times to 10,100 t. Transshipment of grain increased by 66.4% to 284,900 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 15.8% to 467,400 t, imports – by 56.7% to 7,500 t, short sea traffic – by 31.2% to 253,900 t.
In January- April 2016, the port authorities registered 213 arrivals and 193 departures against 275 arrivals and 271 departures in January-April 2015.
