In January-April 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 302,900 t of cargo (-18%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 16% to 209,600 t including 40,700 t of coal and coke (+3%) and 160,100 t of mineral fertilizers (-19%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 71% to 19,400 t, liquid bulk cargo – up 73% to 30,400 t.
Transport of general cargo climbed by 86% to 22,300 t, transshipment of timber totaled 21,200 t (-15%).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%,year-on-year).
