Maersk Oil awarded Boskalis Subsea a subsea IRM contract for the provision of air and saturation diving services from 2016 to 2019. The framework agreement includes the two yearly inspection campaigns of the subsea structures of the 40 production platforms in the Danish Sector of the North Sea. The contract also includes diving construction/intervention scopes throughout these years as well, SubseaUK said.
Boskalis will provide a turnkey package including project management, engineering, scheduling, personnel, vessels and equipment management and final reporting including DNV approval for each campaign.
Boskalis will execute the 2016 offshore campaign this summer with its dedicated diving support vessels Constructor (saturation diving) and Protea (air diving).
