Andrei Gormakh appointed as Director General of Makhachkala Commercial Seaport (photo)

Andrei Gormakh was appointed Director General of Makhachkala Commercial Seaport from May 27, 2016, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

Andrei Gormakh was born on August 18, 1967 in Moscow. In 1995 graduated from the Law Institute under RF Ministry of the Interior with specialization in legal studies.

From 2011 till May 2016 held leading positions in commercial organizations.

Makhachkala seaport is a significant component linking the transport system of Russia’s south with the states of the  Central Asia, Iran, Trans-Caucasian regionand other countries of the area. Commrecial Seaport of Makhachkala handles general and liquid bulk cargo, aggregates and containers. The port’s grain terminal can handle some 500,000 t of grain per year.
