Kalmar to introduce two unique solutions for the port industry at TOC Europe 2016
Kalmar, part of Cargotec, will launch two unique solutions for the port industry during TOC Europe exhibition on 14-16 June in Hamburg, Germany, the company said in its press release.
Last December Kalmar introduced an industry first fast charging solution for electric powered shuttle and straddle carriers. The solution is locally emission free, and it is based on the same opportunity charging technology that is used in electric buses with modern Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. Now we have exciting news that will help terminal operators to reduce their environmental impact. To learn more, join the Kalmar FastCharge launch event on 15 June at 11.45 at our stand E30.
Our new Kalmar T2 terminal tractor is designed by our customers and built by us, in Europe. It is safer to operate, has an ergonomically designed cabin, is easier to maintain and gives you over 100 different driveline combinations to choose from. Get a look and feel of the new Kalmar T2 terminal tractor in the Equipment Display Area, next to the TECH TOC conference during TOC Europe. You are also warmly welcome to join our exclusive event "The Kalmar T2 Experience" with special performance and local food and beverages on Tuesday 14 June at 17.30-18.00 at the Equipment Display Area.
