FESCO and the Government of the Chinese City Nanjing launches new service from Jiangsu Province to Moscow
FESCO Transportation Group in cooperation with the Government of the Chinese city Nanjing launches regular service from Jiangsu province to Moscow.
It is the first FESCO service providing direct cargo transportation from China to Russia on the land route. The service is in line with the Company strategy of developing core business geography.
The first train with 41 containers was dispatched from Nankin on June 29, 2016. The route passes through “TransContainer” terminal in Zabaikals. Transit time is 15 days, the route length – 9,600 km. At the first stage, the service will be scheduled once in two weeks, then it plans to make a weekly schedule service.
Regular train launching makes it available to deliver goods not only from China to Russia, but also through FESCO the intermodal chain from China and South-East Asia to Europe.
