Corvette Rezky laid down at Amur Shipyard (photo)
On July 1, 2016, Amur Shipyard held the keel-laying ceremony for the multi-purpose corvette named Rezky. The press center of the Khabarovsk Territory Government says the event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the shipyard.
The ceremony was attended by the Territory Governor Vyacheslav Shprot, representatives of the Pacific Fleet commandment and RF Defence Ministry.
The Rezky is the forth corvette of the series to be built by Amur Shipyard for the Pacific Fleet. The delivery is scheduled for 2019.
The corvettes of this series were designed for RF Navy by Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau. The ship’s full displacement is 2,220 t, length – 104 m, crew – 99, endurance – 15 days.
Amur Shipyard JSC (Komsomolsk-on-Amur) is the largest shipbuilding company in the Far East of Russia. The shipyard was founded in 1936. It can build warships and civil vessels with displacement of up to 25,000 t.
