In January-June 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 941,500 t of cargo (-26.5%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 48.2% to 242,300 t, coal transshipment - down 2.3% to 287,300 t, ferrous metal – down 9.1 times to 25,600 t. Transshipment of grain surged by 51.4% to 335,100 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 20% to 657,200, imports – 2.9 times to 10,500 t, coastal trade cargo – 36.3% to 273,800 t.
In January- June 2016, the port authorities registered 285 arrivals and 268 departures against 404 arrivals and 408 departures in January-June 2015.
