As part of the strategic expansion of its global footprint, Toll Global Forwarding (TGF), a division of Toll Group, has established a presence in Cyprus with a franchise office fully operational as of 01 July 2016, the company said in its press release.
The establishment of the office in Cyprus – through an agreement signed locally with Laktarget Freight Limited, a subsidiary of the Limassol-based Lavar Shipping and member of the RPT Group of companies – was prompted by recent developments in the energy industry in Cyprus and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.
Offering a comprehensive network of international freight forwarding, and advanced supply chain management services, the local Toll franchise will also introduce the Sea-Air service, a hybrid multimodal transport system via Dubai that halves ocean freight transit times.
