In January-June 2016, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 24.16 mln t of cargo (-8%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 34% to 3.32 mln t, dry bulk cargo – by 15% to 3.61 mln t, general cargo – climbed by 1% to 6.13 mln t.
The port’s container throughput was almost flat at 860,993 TEUs.
In 2015, the port handled 51.51 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.71 mln TEUs.
