In January-June 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 588,200 t of cargo (-13%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 4% to 469,800 t including 219,100 t of mineral fertilizers (-18%) and 185,300 t of coal and coke (+15%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 77% to 21,600 t, liquid bulk cargo – up 10% to 33,500 t.
Transport of general cargo climbed by 57% to 36,000 t, transshipment of forest products totaled 27,300 t (-32%).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%, year-on-year).
