Far East Development Corporation received 100 applications from potential residents of Free Port of Vladivostok for RUB 167 bln

As of today, Far East Development Corporation has received 100 applications from potential residents for total amount of RUB 167 bln. More than 20,000 jobs are to be generated under those projects.

Positive decisions were made on 80 applications with 52 companies having already signed agreements with the Far East Development Corporation and obtained the official status of Free Port of Vladivostok. 

Most of the residents – 39% - have selected the industrial sphere, 18% focus on logistics, 11% - on real estate business. It should be noted that 42 companies are registered in Vladivostok municipality, 14 – in Arteom and 12 – in Nakhodka. 

Federal Law of the Russian Federation (No 212-FZ) "On the Free Port of Vladivostok", came into force on October 13, 2016.
