Today, the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Crimea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The head of the military department will award crew of Moskva Guard missile cruiser the Order of Nakhimov in Sevastopol.
The Defence Minister will also inspect arrangement process of several garrisons and objects of the Black Sea Fleet located on the Crimean Peninsula.
Moskva Guard missile cruiser is the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet. The cruiser was located in the Mediterranean Sea and provided air defence of the Hmeymim, Russian airbase in Syria, last year. Moskva returned to Sevastopol in early January.
