Dredging works in the Seaport of Sabetta are in full swing
In accordance with Russian Federation Government Decree No. 1713-r dated 11.10.2010, development of Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye gas condensate field project is implemented from 2011 on the Yamal Peninsula near the Sabetta village.
On July 13, 2016 dredging works were continued in the seaport of Sabetta and approaches to it due to the start of summer navigation: about 350 thousand cubic meters of soil are excavated daily, which allows completing the planned for 2016 works on time.
To ensure conduction of dredging works, high-performance equipment of 20 vessels was involved: 1 cutter-suction dredger, 7 hopper dredgers, 8 self-propelled barges, 4 auxiliary vessels.
Rosmorport says the volume of dredging works for the past 2 weeks amounts to 3,223,016 m3, of which: on the sea channel – 2,053,709 m3; on the approach channel and water area – 1,169,307 m3.
