JSC Volgogradneftemash (SGM Group) has shipped two oversize coke drums for Gazpromneft Omsk Refinery. According to the company’s statement, transportation of the cargo by waterways will last for several months.
Diameter of each drum weighing 600 t is 9.5 m, length – 36 m. Both machines are made of bimetal chrome moly steel
The statement says none of Russian enterprises has ever produced coke drums of such dimensions before.
On 22 June 2016, Volgogradneftemash shipped columns and heat-exchange equipment for Gazpromneft Omsk Refinery. Earlier, on July 7, Volgogradneftemash shipped three columns. The largest of them weighing 300 t is 64 m tall and 5.7 m in diameter.
