Transport and Logistics Complex JSC has invested RUB 500 mln in construction of railway approaches to the 3rd and the 4th phase facilities of Ust-Luga’s Yug-2 terminal (Leningrad Region), JSC Ust-Luga Company told IAA PortNews.

Total length of railways is 3,325 m. New railway approaches are linked to Luzhskaya Yuzhnaya station.

“New railway infrastructure will let build up the terminal’s throughput by about 4.1 mln t per year, -  says Maikhail Talanenko, Director General of Transport and Logistics Complex (TLC) – it will also significantly decrease shippers’ risks of rail car demurrage caused by waiting for unloading.”

The facility was built and put into operation in a short period of time – March-July 2016 – with Evrodorstroi LLC as General Contractor, GT Morstroi CJSC as General Designer and Lenprotransproekt JSC as Designer.

«Transport and Logistics Complex» JSC was established  in January 2012 to carry the development of Multipurpose Terminal «Yug-2» and construction of the Warehouse Logistic Center in Ust-Luga Merchant Sea Port.
