Primorsk increases diesel tanker loads to 60,000 tonnes

On 1 August 2016 Primorsk Trade Port LLC for the first time has loaded an oil products tanker of 65 000 deadweight – Stena Premium tanker was loaded with 57 000 tons of diesel at berth №8, NCSP Group said in a press release.

CEO of PJSC NCSP Sultan Batov commented on the event: «Increasing tanker loads from 30-40 to 60 thousand tons enables us to make maximum use of the berths’ capacity and opens new opportunities for export of oil products».

«To increase tanker loads while preserving navigation safety PTP has implemented some activities, which resulted in increasing maximum draft at berth №8 to 13.7 meters for vessels up to 76 400 tons deadweight, and to 10.8 meters for vessels up to 47 100 deadweight at berth №9. New berth parameters were enacted by the order of the Captain of the Port of Primorsk in April 2016», said CEO of Primorsk Trade Port LLC Sergey Shkurat.
