Celebrations dedicated to the Day of Knowledge were been held yesterday, September 1st, at the largest institutions of maritime education, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
A number of events were held at the premises of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.
The cadets of International Transport Management Institute (subdivision of the University) were congratulated by Aleksandr Poshivai, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot, and Sergei Baryshnikov, Rector of the University. They read the congratulations of RF Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov and Head of Rosmorrechflot Victor Olersky.
Celebrations at Moscow State Academy of Water Transport were attended by Konstantin Stasyuk, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot, and Sergei Sarisky, Acting Head of Federal Agency for Transport Supervision.
Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University gathered over 800 young people.
The Day of Knowledge was also celebrated at Siberian State University of Water Transport, Maritime State University named after admiral Nevelskoy and other educational institutions.
