In January-August 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 808,900 t of cargo (-18%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 10% to 675,100 t including 344,000 t of mineral fertilizers (-19%) and 303,800 t of coal and coke (+3%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo fell by 80% to 21,600 t, liquid bulk cargo – down 1.20% to 33,500 t.
Transport of general cargo climbed by 39% to 46,900 t, transshipment of forest products totaled 31,800 (-34%).
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%, year-on-year).
