Scope of dredging at Makhachkala port’s water area will total 465,000 cbm this year (photo)

Makhachkala Branch of FSUE Rosmorport has planned dredging of 465,000 cbm of material this year. Dredging works are currently performed by self-propelled hopper Deltovaya-10, DOP-200 system and Sommers dredger. Dredging vessel Dnestr will join the operations in the near future, Rosmorport press center cites Sergei Kurov, Deputy Director General of FSUE Rosmorport.

During his visit to the site Sergei Kurov inspected the dredging fleet of the Makhachkala Branch, appraised their technical state and functional readiness. Deputy Director General of FSUE Rosmorport also held a meeting with the Branch officials to discuss prompt completion of vessels’ repair and implementation of dredging in the water area of port Makhachkala by Rosmorport equipment.
