In January-September 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 1,732,400 t of cargo (-23%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 2.2 times to 277,800 t, ferrous metal – 4.5 times to 74,600 t. Transshipment of grain grew by 13.7% to 823,400 t, coal – by 2.1% to 479,300 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 26% to 1,198,700 t, imports – 2.3 times to 19,400 t, coastal trade cargo – by 12.2% to 514,300 t.
In January-September 2016, the port authorities registered 458 arrivals and 468 departures against 711 arrivals and 717 departures in January-September 2015.
