Throughput of Port Vanino OJSC up 29% to 5.2 mln t in 9M’16

In January-September 2014, Port Vanino OJSC (Khabarovsk Territ\ory) handled over 5.2 mln t of cargo (+29%, year-on-year), the Company's press center says.

Transshipment of export cargo surged by 49.4% to 3.5 mln t. Transshipment of timber totaled 283,400 t, non-ferrous metal - 283,100 t.

Transshipment of import cargo totaled 945,200 t (+13.3%) including 873,100 t of alumina.

In the reporting period the company handled 661 vessels (including 388 ferries) and 70,762 railcars.

Commercial Seaport Vanino (Port Vanino OJSC) is one of the largest stevedoring companies at the port of Vanino. Apart from multi-purpose berths it operates ferry, container and alumina terminals as well as PORT FLEET deployed for mooring operations, transportation of passengers and supply of ships with water. Shareholders of Port Vanino as of December 31, 2015: Opern Trade Ltd (Cyprus) – 17.76% of the authorized capital (23.68% of ordinary shares), Titan CJSC — 18.75% (24.99%), Statula Holdings Ltd (Cyprus) — 16.23% (21.64%).
