The Smetlivy guard ship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet has left Sevastopol for the Piraeus port.
The ship crew is taking part in events of the Year of Russia in Greece, which are held on October 31 – November 1 in Athens and Piraeus.
Most of the events are devoted to the 165th anniversary since the birth of Grand Duchess Olga Constantinovna of Russia, who had devoted her life to development of Russia-Greece relations and spiritual rapprochement.
