In January-October 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 1,902,700 t of cargo, down 21.2%, year-on-year, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products fell 2.2 times to 277,800 tm ferrous metal – 4.5 times to 78,100 t. Transshipment of grain increased by 14.8% to 923,500 t, coal – by 1.7% to 536,800 t.
Exports dropped by 25.6% to 1.322 mln t, imports – 2.2 times to 22,400 t, short-sea traffic – by 5.3% to 558,300 t.
In January-October, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 527 arrivals and 509 departures against 793 arrivals and 800 departures in the same period of 2015.
