In January-October 2016, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 40.02 mln t of cargo (-7%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 34% to 5.30 млн mln t, dry bulk cargo – by 16% to 6.20 mln t, general cargo – up 1% to 10.06 mln t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 20% to 609,200 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 0.9% to 1,447,915 TEUs.
In 2015, the port handled 51.51 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.71 mln TEUs.
