In January-October 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 1,101,800 t of cargo (-15%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 5% to 951,200 t including 449,800 t of mineral fertilizers (-15%) and 466,600 t of coal and coke (+6%).
Transshipment of dry loose cargo plunged by 82% to 25,100 t, liquid bulk cargo – down 23% to 33,500 t.
Transshipment of general cargo climbed by 40% to 58,300 t with metal scrap and packaged cargo showing growth (packaged cargo transshipment up 3.1 time), other general cargo - decrease.
In 2015, the port of Vyborg handled 1.55 mln t of cargo (-8%, year-on-year).
