Amendments into Rosmorrechflot’s guidline and administrative provisions destined to streamline the approval of seafarers’ identity documents by FSB of Russia are to be issued in early 2017, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Vitaly Klyuev, Director of the Department of State Policy for Maritime and River Transport of Russia’s Transport Ministry, as saying at the conference “Training and Certification of Seafarers” held in the framework of Transport Week-2016 in Moscow.
According to him, upon expiry of the period of waiting for reply from FSB (10 days), the documents will be considered to be approved.
