Dredging works in Russia should be performed by the country’s own fleet, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Victor Olersky, Deputy Transport Minister of Russia – Head of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot), as saying at the joint meeting of the Board and the Public Council of Rosmorrechflot.
Victor Olersky reminded that the year of 2016 has seen the delivery of three new dredging ships to FSUE Rosmorport.
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia based Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard (United Shipbuilding Corporation) earlier completed the series of Russia’s first dredgers of TSHD 1000 deign having delivered the Kadosh to FSUE Rosmorport.
The contract between Rosmorport and Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard on construction and delivery of three ships of TSHD 1000 design was signed in April 2014.
