Cargo volumes handled at the Port of Singapore in January-November 2016 climbed by 2%, year-on-year, to 540.44 mln t, the Port Authority statistics show.
The volume of oil cargo climbed by 11.2% to 201.11 mln t.
The port’s container throughput dropped by 1% to 28.12 mln TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2015, container traffic at Port of Singapore reached 30.92 TEUs, total cargo throughput was 575 million tonnes.
