Throughput of Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port down 16% to 1.34 mln t in 2016

In January-December 2016, Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC handled 1,342,600 t of cargo (-16%, year-on-year), the company says.

Transshipment of import cargo plunged 3.6 times, year-on-year, to 17,000 t, exports – down 2.1 times to 216,400 t, short-sea traffic – down 0.8% to 1,058,300 t.

Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC is a multi-profile stevedoring company of port Arkhangelsk. It specializes in transshipment of general cargo, cellulose, cardboard, containers, timber, metal, fertilizers, heavy equipment, loose and dry bulk cargo. In 2015, the company handled 1.599 mln t of cargo.
