The volume of traffic by TransContainer, a leading Russian rail operator, utilizing the company's railcars and containers between January and December 2016 reached 1,500 TEUs, which a 8.9% gain year-on-year, the Company's press release said.
Domestic traffic increased in 2016 by 9.7% to 867 thousand TEUs. At the same time, haulage of transit freight dropped by 13.6% to 74,000 TEUs.
