RF Navy’s Pacific Ocean Fleet ship detachment arrived in Busan

Today, the ship detachment of the Pacific Fleet, including Admiral Tributs anti-submarine ship and Boris Butoma major tanker, has arrived in the Busan port (Republic of Korea), says press center of RF Defence Ministry.

During the visit the Pacific Fleet seamen held a meeting with representatives of the Command of the Navy of Republic of Korea, the Mayor of the Busan city and Consulate General of the Russian Federation.

The Pacific Fleet ship detachment under command of deputy commander of Primorsky Fleet all-arms forces rear admiral Eduard Mikhailov has been operating in the sea since October, 2016.

The Pacific Fleet servicemen have visited the Tanjung Priok port in Indonesia, where they participated in the Indo Defence Expo & Forum and entered the Sattahip port, the Kingdom of Thailand.  In mid-December 2016, the detachment entered the Vishakhapatnam port of the Republic of India and participated in the INDRA NAVY naval Russian-Indian training in the Bay of Bengal.

In early January 2017, the ships have made a good will visit to the port of Manila (Philippines).
