In the framework of the overall modernization of machinery at JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SPSP, part of UCL Holding) a batch of new machinery was purchased – eight TCM forklift trucks, says PR Department of SPSP.
The forklift trucks with the capacity of 8 tons each are equipped with side clamps and coil ram attachments to handle both metals and big-bags. Each machine has a built-in exhaust gas neutralizer, so the truck can be operated both outdoors on the berths and indoors.
In total, from the beginning of 2016 SPSP purchased two MANTSINEN К-200(ES) loading cranes with the capacity of 32.8 tons, two bucket loaders VOLVO L60GZ with the capacity of 2m3, two forklift trucks KALMAR DCF330-12LB with the capacity of 33 tonnes, four forklift trucks KALMAR DCG 100-6 with the capacity of 10 tonnes, ten forklift trucks UNICARRIERS with the capacity of 2.5 tons and six specialized roll trailers for transportation of cargo around the port.
All-in-all, the machinery fleet of the company was reinforced with 34 units of new equipment. In addition, our company purchased new attachments for hoisting gear of cargo handling equipment.
JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (a member of UCL Port – stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) – is the largest provider of cargo handling services for all types of dry cargoes in the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg. It operates several state-of-the-art multi-purpose terminals for handling of general and bulk cargoes, as well as specialized terminals for ro-ro and container cargoes. In 2016 the total turnover of the company amounted to 7.3 mln tons.
