AS “Latvijas kugnieciba” (LK) says it has won the 1st place at the Nasdaq Baltic Market Awards in the “Best Interactive Investor Relations” category for excellent communication with the company’s investors, and the 3rd place in the “Most Visible Improvement over 3 Years” category. Baltic Market Awards is the award ceremony of the Nasdaq Baltic stock exchange, at which prizes in eight categories are awarded to the best companies listed on the stock exchange.
“We at Latvijas kugnieciba were delighted to have our efforts recognised by Nasdaq at last night’s Baltic Market Award ceremony. Good Corporate Governance, openness and Transparency are all vital to ensure stakeholders trust in the company. We take very seriously the desire to interact with our shareholder stakeholders, potential investors and analysts and winning “Best interactive investor relations” shows the improvement we are making in achieving this,” LK chairman of the board Roberts Kirkups noted.
As part of the Baltic Market Awards project, 54 companies from the official Nasdaq Baltic list and other lists were evaluated according to more than 160 criteria. This is the second time for LK to win a prize at Baltic Market Awards: in 2012, the company got the 1st place in the “Best Investor Relations Improvement in the Baltics over the Year” category.
