Throughput of Chinese ports up 3% to 8.08 bln t in 2016

In January-December 2016, the ports of China increased their cargo throughput by 3%, year-on-year, to 8.08 billion tonnes, China’s National Bureau of Statistics said.

In the accounting period the ports of China handled 3.7 billion tonnes of foreign cargo (+3.7%).
