In January 2017, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 180,900 t of cargo (+9.6%, year-on-year), the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products climbed by 9.8% to 75,300 t, coal – by 13.7% to 52,300 t. Transshipment of grain fell by 39.8% to 25,600 t, ferrous metal – 2.2 times to 2,900 t.
Exports declined by 1.1% to 94,800 t, imports totaled 10,900 t (versus 300 t in January 2016), short-sea traffic grew by 9.2% to 75,300 t.
In January, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 51 arrivals and 51 departures against 43 arrivals and 38 departures in January 2016.
