In January 2017, the port of Primorsk handled 5,637,600 t of cargo (+11%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment climbed by 16% to 4,299,100 t.
Transshipment of oil products declined by 1%, year-on-year, to 1,338,500 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
