Ulstein Power & Control AS to deliver complete systems for Ulstein-built yacht

Ulstein Power & Control AS has been contracted for the delivery of complete systems for a yacht that is to be constructed at Ulstein Verft.

The delivery to the yacht includes several complete packages of systems for automation, surveillance and control (ULSTEIN IAS™), communication (ULSTEIN COM™), integrated bridge solution (ULSTEIN BRIDGE™), distribution and propulsion of power systems (ULSTEIN POWER™), dynamic positioning and power control systems (ULSTEIN PMS™).

ULSTEIN IAS™ is based on the novel system architecture, ULSTEIN X-CONNECT™. This architecture raises products for marine control, alarm and surveillanxe to a new and much more flexible and scaleable standard. Additionally, with ULSTEIN X-CONNECT the shipowner can opt for a ship-to-shore transfer of data. This data can be analysed in a way that valuable information that can be used for decision making support, maintenance and optimisation of ship operations.
